As a Commercial Finance Business Partner, you will be vital in shaping financial strategy and supporting commercial decisions. With at least five years of post-qualification experience, your expertise in Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) will be instrumental in guiding senior leaders, building advanced financial models, and fostering accountability across the organisation.Â
Key Responsibilities:- Commercial Finance & Business Partnering: Act as a financial advisor to operational teams, supporting growth and cost efficiency through data-driven insights.
- FP&A: Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
- Financial Modelling: Build and maintain advanced models for pricing, investment, and strategic initiatives, conducting scenario analyses as needed.
- Business Case Development: Partner with stakeholders to create robust business cases, providing recommendations to senior management.
- Performance & Profitability Analysis: Assess revenue and profitability drivers, advising on pricing, product mix, and market positioning.
- Process Improvement: Identify efficiency improvements for financial processes and reporting, ensuring timely, accurate insights.
- Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with five years’ post-qualification experience in FP&A or commercial finance
- Proven experience in building complex financial models
- Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial planning software
- Excellent communication skills for partnering with non-financial stakeholders
