My client, a well known FMCG company based in South Manchester, are in need of an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their Commercial Finance team on an interim basis. I am delighted to be partnered with this company - a well-established, highly regarded firm who have a great name within their field.
Due to consistent growth and a busy period, they are in need of a Finance Business Partner on a six month FTC basis.
The Commercial Finance team partners with the Commercial team to ensure the control environment is robust, effective and in-line with the internal control framework and enable sustainable commercial performance by providing timely and insightful customer analysis.
In order to be considered for this role you will be an imminently available, highly-organised, self-motivated, analytical Finance Business Partner.
This will be a hybrid role.
What you'll do:
- Customer Analysis: Managing and performance across portfolios and sales channels, including discounters and exports.
- Profitability and Volume Margins: Leading P&L ownership and delivering accurate profit and customer forecasts.
- Risk and Opportunity Management: Identifying and addressing key risks and opportunities.
- Financial Reporting: Supporting month-end processes, mix analysis, and trade spend reporting.
What you bring:
- Background: Experience in the retail or FMCG sector is essential.
- Skills: Strong communication, analytical thinking, and a practical, solution-focused mindset.
- Personality: A proactive and confident team player capable of partnering with and constructively challenging the Sales Team.
- Qualifications: Ideally qualified, if not part-qual CIMA/ACCA/equivalent
