The RoleAxon Moore are currently partnered with a high growth SaaS business who've recently received external investment to unlock significant growth both organically and via M&A. Our client are seeking their second major hire into finance which will be a Commercial Finance Lead, driving strategy and the production of key MI. As Commercial Finance Lead, you will be responsible for business partnering with the CEO in the production and presentation of MI, supporting planned M&A, modelling and supporting strategic decision making. The role will be primarily remote with the occasional requirement to visit the London offices. Salary - £75k - £85k Location - Remote, occasional need to visit the London offices Requirements as Commercial Finance Lead
  • Leading the production of key MI to the SLT including variance analysis, board packs and KPI's
  • Business partnering with the CEO and other departments to drive efficiences
  • Supporting planned M&A including the integration of newly acquired businesses
  • Providing financial models including on new investment opportunities 
  • Developing a fit for purpose commercial finance function in line with business growth
  • Working closely with the CFO and CEO to drive strategic decision making and direction
The Person
  • Fully qualified accountant, ideally practice trained
  • Highly commercial with the ability to identify new strategic initiatives 
  • Confident, able to engage senior leadership
  • Ambitious, the business is high growth and this role will develop significantly over time
  • Experience within tech, SaaS or a similar industry is desirable
  • Although not essential, exposure to M&A would also be desirable
