Description
- Project Management: Lead and manage corporate finance transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals, and fundraising initiatives.
- Client Liaison: Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact throughout projects.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analysis, including valuation modeling, due diligence, and preparation of financial projections.
- Advisory Services: Provide strategic advice on corporate finance matters, including business valuations, deal structuring, and capital raising.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior staff, providing coaching and guidance in corporate finance work and technical skills.
- Reporting: Prepare detailed reports, presentations, and financial models for client meetings and negotiations.
- Business Development: Support business development activities, identifying opportunities for new corporate finance work within existing and prospective clients.
Profile
A successful Corporate Finance Manager should have:
- ACA, ACCA (or equivalent), with significant post-qualification experience in corporate finance or transaction services.
- Experience in advising on M&A, valuations, or other corporate finance transactions.
- Strong technical skills in financial analysis and financial modeling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Experience of managing projects and teams, with the ability to deliver under pressure and to deadlines.
- A proactive and commercial mindset, with a focus on delivering results for clients.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with experience in preparing and presenting financial reports.
