About the Company:Our client is a respected firm of Insolvency Practitioners in Manchester, well-known for providing expert insolvency, corporate recovery, and restructuring services to businesses across various industries. They are currently seeking an experienced Corporate Recovery Manager to lead and manage complex corporate insolvency cases, supporting distressed companies and advising clients through challenging financial situations.

Job Overview:The Corporate Recovery Manager will be responsible for overseeing a varied caseload of corporate insolvency and restructuring assignments, including administrations, CVAs, and liquidations. This role requires a strong background in insolvency, strategic insight, and excellent client relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a diverse portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, including CVLs, MVLs, Administrations, and CVAs.
  • Oversee the preparation of reports, creditor communications, and statutory documentation, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct complex financial analysis, cash flow forecasting, and viability assessments for distressed companies.
  • Provide clear advice and support to clients, directors, and creditors on insolvency options and recovery strategies.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior staff members, providing guidance on case management and technical issues.
  • Work closely with other departments, stakeholders, and external advisors to deliver successful case outcomes.
  • Identify and pursue new business development opportunities, helping to expand the firm’s client base.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Corporate Recovery Manager or in a similar role within insolvency.
  • Strong technical knowledge of UK insolvency legislation and procedures.
  • CPI, ACA, ACCA, or JIEB qualifications are highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional approach to client management.
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills, with experience in managing junior staff.
  • Commercial awareness and ability to identify growth opportunities.
