Role Overview: Imperium Financial Recruitment is partnering with one of the leading corporate recovery firms in Manchester to find an exceptional Corporate Recovery Senior Manager. The successful candidate will bring extensive expertise in corporate recovery and insolvency, providing strategic leadership and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of complex corporate recovery and insolvency cases, including administrations, liquidations, and voluntary arrangements.
  • Conduct detailed assessments of distressed companies, developing and implementing effective recovery strategies.
  • Prepare, review, and present comprehensive reports for creditors, regulatory bodies, and courts.
  • Facilitate and lead creditors' meetings, clearly communicating case progress and proposed actions.
  • Ensure compliance with insolvency legislation, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.
  • Act as a key point of contact for stakeholders, including creditors, company directors, solicitors, and financial advisors.
  • Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Contribute to the firm's business development initiatives by identifying new opportunities and nurturing existing client relationships.
  • Stay updated with industry trends, changes in insolvency law, and best practices to maintain the firm's competitive edge.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Licensed Insolvency Practitioner (IP) status is essential.
  • A minimum of 7 years’ experience in corporate recovery and insolvency, with at least 3 years in a senior management role.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPI, or JIEB are highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated expertise in managing high-profile and complex insolvency cases.
  • In-depth knowledge of insolvency law, regulations, and best practices.
