Your new firmWe are partnering with a well respected global Top 10 accountancy firm to search for a new addition to their corporate tax team. This firm is growing due to the success of its current team and is now in a position to appoint a new Senior Manager or Manager within Corporate Tax.Your new roleAs the new Corporate Tax Senior Manager, you will manage and continue to build a portfolio of varied clients.You will talk proactively to clients about tax opportunities which may be relevant to them, and work with the tax partners, and a wider tax team.To deliver on such work.You will be part of the wider national senior leadership tax team to ensure national procedures are rolled out.You will work in a 50% client advisory and 50% client compliance role as you continue to grow and develop the portfolio.You will also be responsible for assisting the development of more junior staff through coaching.What you'll need to succeedTo succeed in this Corporate Tax Senior Manager role, you will :

  • Have extensive experience of working with a portfolio of clients to deliver on annual Tax compliance and reporting requirements.
  • Demonstrate broad and strong technical tax knowledge and experience.
  • Work effectively as part of a larger team who proactively manages all team members
  • Have broad experience of managing the financials of clients, setting timetables and delivering on budgets.
  • Have experience of identifying opportunities for business development for tax clients and other service lines.
  • Have the desire to take on leadership roles both in Manchester and across the wider tax team
