Finance Business Partner

Based: Manchester centre, hybrid working

Salary: circa £50k + bonus + benefits

Our client are a rapidly expanding, entrepreneurial business with growth plans for 2025 and beyond. Due to growth, we are involved with helping them build out their finance team at their new Manchester offices. This role is perfect for a driven finance professional who thrives from working in a fast-paced environment, looking for autonomy in their role under a strong mentor and is passionate about delivering commercial finance excellence

Role:

  • Business partnering with wider business and wider SLT
  • Leading monthly forecast meetings, reporting on variances and developing action plans
  • Month end reviews, preparing group management accounts providing detailed analysis
  • Preparing and reviewing quarterly VAT returns
  • Overseeing cash management including supplier payments, bank reconciliations and weekly cash flow forecasting
  • Assisting in preparation of annual budgets and year-end accounts, managing the audit process, reviewing year end tax returns
  • Supporting & leading junior finance team ensuring month end tasks delivered timely
  • Managing revenue streams, invoicing & revenue recognition
  • Reviewing and analysing debtor ageing balances, overseeing credit control

Experience:

  • Qualified Accountant/Finalist keen to work in a commercially focused role (some commercial experience desirable)
  • Excellent attention to detail and attitude to develop your career
  • Collaborative spirit, able to work with all level stakeholders building relationships
  • Proactive, problem-solving mindset keen to develop processes/efficiencies
