Robert Half is currently supporting a leading global organisation in their search for an experienced Operational Finance Business Partner to join their European team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional to take ownership of operational financial performance, working closely with senior stakeholders to drive efficiency and profitability.
The Opportunity
This role sits at the heart of European operations, reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance and working alongside the Sales Director. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, you will play a critical role in providing financial insights, analysis, and strategic recommendations that directly impact business performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Take full ownership of the EBITDA financial performance for European operations, analysing supply chain and operational efficiencies, and providing data-driven recommendations to improve performance.
- Work closely with senior stakeholders, challenging financial performance and preparing financial models and business cases to support strategic initiatives.
- Lead the full cycle of monthly, quarterly, and annual EBITDA forecasting, ensuring operational costs align with business objectives. Present financial performance updates to the Operating Board and Senior Leadership Team.
- Act as a trusted advisor to non-financial stakeholders, translating complex financial data into meaningful insights to support key business decisions.
- Provide guidance to a Senior Management Accountant and support the wider finance team in their professional development, ensuring strong succession planning.
Who We're Looking For
This role is ideal for a proactive and ambitious finance professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to influence at a senior level. You'll need:
- You must be ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified, part qualified will be considered.
- A minimum of five years experience in a similar role.
- A proven track record in financial business partnering, ideally within an operational or supply chain environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience in EBITDA forecasting, financial modelling, and business case preparation.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and challenge senior non-financial stakeholders.
- A collaborative and strategic mindset, with the confidence to drive financial performance and continuous improvement.
