- Managing relationships with external advisors, accountants, and financial institutions.
- Managing the Accounting/Financial Reporting team and working with them to build out robust financial processes and controls.
- Owning the production of monthly management accounts including trend analysis, variance analysis.
- Cashflow management including managing the weekly funding request process with investors.
- Budgeting and forecasting for P&L, balance sheet and cash flow.
- Developing appropriate performance measures and KPIs for trading practice areas
- Manage a strong relationship with key suppliers and key stakeholders
- Maintaining a robust control environment to proactively manage regulatory and financial risks
- Qualified accountant with significant post-qualification experience (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven track record in leading a finance function within startup or scale-up environment.
