Robert Half is partnering a market leading manufacturing company based in Trafford in its search for a new financial controller.
The financial controller will ensure quality control of financial transactions and financial reporting whilst also developing processes to improve internal controls. Along with day-to-day responsibility for cash flow management, accounts payable and credit control, you will oversee the following;
- Responsible to produce consolidated accounts for the group
- Leading and managing the cash flow forecasting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Managing aged debts and aged creditors effectively
- Day to day supervision and management of the accounts payable team
- Producing year end statutory accounts and tax packs
- Manage any costing analysis on projects
- VAT submissions
You will have the following experience;
- Minimum of 5 years experience in a similar role
- Manufacturing industry experience is essential
- ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Must have a notice period of 1 month or less
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
