Finance Manager | Social Housing | Hybrid Working | 51.5k

Overview:

Castlefield Recruitment are currently working with a Greater Manchester based housing association in order to recruit a Finance Manager on a permanent basis. The successful role holder will build effective partnering relationships across the business, providing comprehensive financial information and advice to deliver better ways of working, and proactively drive efficiencies across the organisation.

Role:

Reporting directly to the Director of Finance, the Finance Manager will be responsible for the finance business partnering function and promote financial sustainability through effective leadership

Responsibilities:

  • Provide operational financial advice to all levels of the organisation to inform decision making
  • Provide leadership to the operational finance business partnering team
  • Lead and manage the production and reporting of annual budgets
  • Provide financial training and guidance to budget holders
  • Provide pro-active, future focused decision support to Directorates, using financial analysis to facilitate change

Person:

The successful Finance Manager will be:

  • CCAB/CIMA qualification or significant qualification by experience
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles such as FRS102 and SORP
  • Strong understanding of social housing legislation
