They are now seeking a talented and ambitious Finance Manager to join the team and help drive their financial strategy forward.
Your new role
The Financial Controller will oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. You will prepare and present monthly management accounts and financial reports to the board, ensuring compliance with all financial regulations and legislation. Additionally, you will manage and mentor a small finance team, fostering a culture of integrity and continuous improvement. The role involves conducting in-depth financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements, collaborating with senior management to shape the strategic direction of the business, handling HMRC queries, and managing insurance policies. You will involve the month-end accounts. MI packs, forecast, and annual budget processes, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will hold a qualification such as QBE, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent. You should have a strong background in finance business partnering, strong management accounts skills. Exceptional stakeholder management skills are essential, with the ability to influence and challenge at all levels. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills are required, with a focus on driving business performance. Additionally, excellent communication skills are necessary, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights.
