An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Finance Manager to join a globally renowned e-commerce business. This role offers the chance to work in the heart of Manchester City Centre, with a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £70,000. What you'll do:

As Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in supporting senior leadership while taking ownership of key financial processes. You'll bring strong leadership skills to manage and develop a team of accountants, ensuring their growth and success. Your responsibilities will include overseeing financial models for critical calculations, collaborating with cross-functional teams on contracts, and maintaining robust controls for all management accounts processes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Oversee accurate accounting and reporting of revenue, royalties, and receivables.
  • Lead, manage, and mentor a team of qualified and part-qualified accountants.
  • Act as a business partner to internal teams on new and renewal contracts.
  • Enhance and maintain strong financial controls and procedures.
  • Continuously improve the financial control framework.
  • Identify trends, risks, and opportunities, offering strategic recommendations.
  • Review and approve royalty invoices, ensuring contractual compliance.

What you bring:

You are a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a proven track record in driving improvements to processes and efficiencies. Experience of working in a SOX-controlled environment or with US-listed or PE-backed businesses is highly desirable but not essential. Strong communication skills, advanced Excel capabilities, and familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics D365 or Oracle are advantageous.

  • Full accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA).
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvements in processes.
  • Experience in revenue recognition and royalty calculations.
  • Background in SOX-controlled environments or working with international entities.
  • Strong business partnering and communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills; experience with D365 or Oracle is beneficial.
