Finance Manager - Part Qualified 

Carrington - Hybrid (4 days in office/1 day per week from home)

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE) + Study Support + Bonus

Dynamic and growing manufacturing company based in Carrington, Manchester are looking for a talented and motivated Part-Qualified Finance Manager with experience in Manufacturing or Logistics to join the team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Management Accounts: Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, including month-end processes.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to create budgets and forecasts.
  • Variance Analysis: Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights.
  • Team Management: Lead and mentor a small finance team.
  • P&L Management: Monitor and manage profit and loss statements.
  • Analysis of variance and recommendations against budget Vs actual
  • People Management responsibility of administrators and operational staff in partnership with Depot Manager to include managing performance,  quality of work, appraisals,  payroll and all HR issues.   
  • Stakeholder management.
  • Identify areas of improvement and suggest continuous improvements
  • Report on commercial financial data as per the requirements of the business area. 
  • Working with all internal systems to include SAP, PRIMSA and Webcycle 
  • Assist external and internal auditors during periodic audits

Requirements:

  • Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or logistics business is essential 
  • Strong knowledge of management accounting principles.
  • Some team management experience is preferred
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
