Finance Manager - Part Qualified
Carrington - Hybrid (4 days in office/1 day per week from home)
£35,000 - £40,000 per annum (DOE) + Study Support + Bonus
Dynamic and growing manufacturing company based in Carrington, Manchester are looking for a talented and motivated Part-Qualified Finance Manager with experience in Manufacturing or Logistics to join the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management Accounts: Prepare accurate and timely management accounts, including month-end processes.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Collaborate with department heads to create budgets and forecasts.
- Variance Analysis: Analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide insights.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a small finance team.
- P&L Management: Monitor and manage profit and loss statements.
- Analysis of variance and recommendations against budget Vs actual
- People Management responsibility of administrators and operational staff in partnership with Depot Manager to include managing performance, quality of work, appraisals, payroll and all HR issues.
- Stakeholder management.
- Identify areas of improvement and suggest continuous improvements
- Report on commercial financial data as per the requirements of the business area.
- Working with all internal systems to include SAP, PRIMSA and Webcycle
- Assist external and internal auditors during periodic audits
Requirements:
- Part-qualified (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) or equivalent.
- Experience in a manufacturing or logistics business is essential
- Strong knowledge of management accounting principles.
- Some team management experience is preferred
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
