Finance Manager | £60k-£65k + Bonus + Benefits | PE Backed business | Manchester (Hybrid)Job Overview:Axon Moore is exclusively working on behalf of an outstanding PE-Backed, international organisation that is continuing its impressive growth trajectory. We are working alongside the International Financial Controller who is looking for a strong Finance Manager to join their team. Given the role has international exposure, I am looking to speak with someone who has strong controls experience and exposure to large organisations, ideally overseas.This role will be an excellent opportunity if you are currently seeking your second move in industry having trained in a large accountancy firm or looking for your first move from practice having achieved Manager grade or above. With an ACA mentor focused on succession planning, you will have a clear pathway to career development, whilst being responsible for developing a team underneath you.It is an exciting time to join the business, with real growth potential in this job and proven examples of excellent mentorship across finance.Salary: £60k-£65k + bonus + benefitsLocation: Manchester (hybrid working, 3 days a week)Main Duties:
  • Oversee the production of monthly management accounts, ensuring the accuracy of information provided.
  • Ensure a robust Balance Sheet, with reconciliations completed monthly.
  • Ensure strong controls are in place to protect financial processes and systems.
  • Identify efficiencies and controls improvements where possible.
  • Ensure compliance requirements are met, focusing on reporting obligations and monitor regulatory bodies.
  • Assist with the review of statutory accounts and local GAAP and liaise with external auditors.
  • Oversee the accurate and timely submission of tax and statutory findings.
  • Manage and mentor the international finance team, providing guidance and support on daily operations.
  • Lead by example, focusing on the culture and values of the business.
  • Act as a Business Partner for the regions you are responsible for, sharing insight and guidance.
  • Working with the Financial Controller to support the FP&A function with the preparation of annual budgets and reforecasts.
  • Support the Financial Controller in preparing board presentations and financial reports.
Person Specification:
  • ACA Qualified.
  • Experience working in a controls environment with reporting deadlines.
  • Experience in both practice and industry is desirable but not essential.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to details.
  • Advanced Excel skillset.
  • Strong Excel capability.
  • Excellent communicator.
  • Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.
