Finance Manager - Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA
Manchester – hybrid
£75-85k depending on experience
This is an excellent opportunity for a Qualified Finance Manager to join an established Tech business who operate internationally.
Reporting directly to the Global Group CFO you will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis and be responsible for a small team locally.
Key responsibilities
- Complete monthly close to global deadlines, including preparation of month-end journals.
- Produce monthly management accounts including balance sheet reconciliations
- Submission of reports to US
- Produce actuals vs budget highlighting any variances and provide detailed analysis/commentary
- Management of all accounting reporting for site performance each month
- Manage a small finance team, providing leadership and support.
- Weekly/monthly meetings with team in US to incorporate group budget
- Ensure compliance with US accounting rules and regulations.
- Liaise with auditors/HMRC
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the finance team.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified.
- 5-10 years of post-qualification experience operating at Finance Manager level in the UK ideally in the tech sector
- Experience working for a US business with working knowledge of US GAAP – essential
- Strong technical accounting skills.
- ERP Systems experience – Netsuite advantageous
- Proven ability to manage and lead a finance team and build strong relationships with senior stakeholders globally
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
