Our client are a B2B organisation based in Greater Manchester who are growing rapidly and looking to put some processes and controls in place to support their next scale up.

Description

An ideal role for either an established Finance Manager or someone who is newly qualified and ready for a new challenge within a relatively young organisation, this person will be responsible for establishing new finance processes and making the finance team more proactive rather than reactive.

Introducing a PO route, auto invoice matching, introducing formal month end processes and enhancing their automation via system growth, are a few of the key focus areas and quick wins in this newly formed position.

You will also be responsible for the mentoring and management of a Junior Financial Accountant as they progress through CIMA studies early into their finance career.

Profile

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA) however, my client are flexible on when you qualified; you may be newly qualified or you may be in an established Finance Manager position already.

They are keen to bring someone in with a positive, can-do attitude who is happy to walk into a slightly ambiguous environment. The organisation is still relatively young so you must be comfortable being at the forefront of change and managing key stakeholder relationships whilst doing so.

You will ideally have experience with month end processes and be comfortable producing management accounts, accurately and efficiently.

Job Offer

Competitive salary between £55,000 - £60,000 plus benefits that can be discussed.
