Working closely with the Commercial Finance Manager, this role holds typical reporting duties focusing on controls, audit, compliance, tax as well as ad-hoc queries.With a core focus on culture and values, our client is focused on bringing in an individual with a strong work ethic, a can-do attitude, and someone keen to find solutions.It is an exciting time to join the business, with real growth potential in this job and proven examples of excellent mentorship across finance.Salary: £60,000-£70,000Location: Wilmslow (Hybrid working is available, with Tuesday-Thursday being mandatory office days)Main Duties:• Take ownership over all statutory reporting requirements, including the year-end audit process.• Submission of VAT returns.• Treasury Management including cash flow and FX.• Take ownership of the controls process, looking at payments, stock, and reconciliations.• Oversee and support the development of the transactional finance function.• Ongoing support to the CFO and the wider organisation as they continue their growth journey.• Tax and compliance.Person Specification:• ACA Qualified.• Experience working in a similar industry, or one with stock management is desirable.• Experience working in practice is desirable. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.• Advanced Excel skillset.• Strong Excel capability.• Excellent communicator.• Experience working in an environment with tight deadlines.• Line management experience is desirable.This is a great opportunity to work for a company experiencing strong growth.
