My client are currently hiring a Group Reporting Manager to join their technical reporting team on a permanent basis.

Perfect for a first time mover from practice (preferably big 4) this is a key role in overseeing the Group's external financial reporting requirements in a dynamic environment.

Description

  • Overall lead for preparation of the interim and annual report and preparation of subsidiary statutory accounts
  • Ensuring the successful delivery of the external audit & developing a strong relationship with the audit team
  • Providing technical accounting advice to the Group's businesses, including for new products, contracts, offers or corporate transactions
  • Preparation of technical accounting papers to explain accounting judgements to key stakeholders
  • Advising on changes in accounting standards and the business impact
  • Driving improvement in the Group's controls and financial reporting processes.

Profile

  • Qualified accountant (ACA) with strong technical accounting experience (ideally big 4 practice background and IFRS experience is advantageous)
  • Strong communication skills and a technical mindset, with the ability to convey complex information simply and clearly to a range of audiences
  • Can demonstrate success in improving financial processes and enhancing the control environment.
