Your new companyAn established owner-managed manufacturing SME with a £15 million turnover is seeking a Head of Finance. This stable SME has a fantastic family-oriented culture. They have an established client base and are well-respected suppliers in their sector. The role reports directly to the MD (Owner of the Business), and the Head of Finance oversees the business's financial and strategic aspects.Your new role

  • Regular cash-flow forecasting
  • Payroll/CIS/P11D's
  • Quarterly VAT Returns
  • Production of monthly Management Accounts
  • Consolidations
  • Preparation of statutory accounts and managing audit
  • Manage 1 assistant accountant
  • Budgeting and forecasting
  • Stakeholder management

What you'll need to succeed

  • QBE/ACA/ACCA/CIMA
  • Strong Communication Skills: Proficient in conveying complex financial information effectively.
  • Collaboration with Non-Finance Teams: Experienced in explaining financial data to non-finance colleagues.
  • Management accounts skills
  • Excel skills
