Large service business based in the South Manchester area requires a Group Head of Finance for a 12-month FTC.

As Head of Finance for Group Services, this is a senior role within the Finance team and will be looking after functions such as IT and HR. To cover a maternity leave, we are looking for someone to start as soon as possible, for 12 months on an FTC. The role will require you to partner with C-suite individuals and their wider teams, be heavily involved in business planning, and in some of the smaller functions you will be quite involved in the day-to-day Accounting and Finance.

Reporting into the Group Finance Director, with key relationships with several stakeholders, and their wider teams, the role holder is required to provide of a comprehensive and professional financial support function.

A crucial element of the role will be the improvement of financial processes and reporting across the group to high standards, supported by the wider team.

The role will also work closely with the wider finance team to ensure a collaborative and seamless approach to consolidating results and performance reporting, building business plans and forecasts, and share best practice across divisions.

The right candidate for the role will be;

A qualified accountant with at least 5 years PQE. Ideally you will have successful extensive business finance partnering experience in organisation with revenue management focus. Any experience of a larger matrix style, multi-site organisation would also be very helpful. You will need to be able to build relationships with all levels of stakeholders, but especially C-Suite level, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
