Axon Moore are excited to be partnered with a high growth, entrepreneurial manufacturing business based East Cheshire in sourcing a high calibre Head of Finance to act as number 1 alongside the industry recognised MD. As Head of Finance, you will be resposible for cost control, cash flow, business partnering, commercial reporting and developing finance as the business grows. You will be hands on and comfortable engaging non finance as well as the rest of the senior leadership team in order to influence positive change and growth.The Role

Ensuring a fit for purpose finance function in line with business growth
Working closely with production to maximise efficiences
Business partnering operations including sales, marketing and product
Significant commercial reporting to the board including sole responsibility of board packs
Managing and developing a small team across transactional finance
Leading internal and external audit
Managing costs, cash flow and supply chain closely

The Person

Qualified Accountant
Strong commercial awareness
Comfortable engaging senior leadership and partnering with non-finance
Incredibly hands on given a small team
Experience within manufacturing or a similar industry is highly desirable
