Interim CFO

This is an interim Finance Director / CFO job to work on a project assisting a project based business near to Manchester with the Financial Due Diligence pre sale of the business. You will be a Qualified Accountant, and very likely a career interim with significant experience of working on sales of businesses, particularly first time sales where the finance function is not yet professionalised. You will report into both the CEO, and to a certain extent the vendor on ensuring the FDD is successful completed, and the beginnings of a professionalised finance function are created. You will therefore be able to travel to Manchester at least three days a week to be in and amongst the team. It would be advantageous if you also have experience of managing successful exits in prior roles too, in particular exits achieved with rudimentary systems and processes in a complex project based business. This Finance Director / CFO job offers full time contract, (3 months at least), significant day rate that would sit outside IR35, with opportunity to be extended as an interim while a permanent search is undertaken, or potentially become the permanent CFO yourself if that is of interest.
