My client, a scaled and global MSSP business is looking for a Senior Finance professional to help them achieve a significant fundraise. This business has achieved 30% growth YOY, is highly profitable and has zero debt.  Supporting both the business and the investment bank advising the company, this is a highly visible role, interfacing with stakeholders and key business areas throughout the organisation, external advisors and future investors.  Working collaboratively with the investment banking advisory business and the vendor assist provider, you will create and maintain financial models, produce forecasting models, prepare financial information to present to potential investors, integrate models with the new finance system and assist with the audit.  The core focus of this role will be on providing accurate, insightful financial data to support the fundraise process, combined with financial forecasting to demonstrate the projected growth of the business for use before and during the fundraise deal process.    Once the business has gone to market via the investment bank, to secure equity funding, the successful candidate will be heavily involved in the investment process, particularly in speaking to investors who will have probing questions regarding the financials and models they have been presented with.  The successful candidate will have experience working in the finance function of a business that has undergone a fundraise, or an exit process.  Candidates operating within private equity backed businesses are of interest though this is not a necessity, as long as candidates have relevant experience within a deal scenario.  Applicants should have extensive financial modelling experience.  The role is fully remote and is initially a six-month contract, though there is scope for this role to evolve into a permanent Finance Director position.  This role is ideal for an individual with a strong commercial mindset and a proven track record in financial modelling, with experience of one or more M&A processes. This role offers the opportunity to drive significant business outcomes. If you excel in financial modelling and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we encourage you to apply.
