Finance Manager | Cheshire | £250-300 | 3 months

Overview:

Castlefield Recruitment are pleased to be working with a Cheshire based Education body in order to recruit a Finance Manager on a temporary basis where you’ll be responsible for day-to-day accounting operations and controls. This is a hands-on position that requires an experienced finance professional with a keen eye for detail and excellent organisational skills.

Role:As the Finance Manager you’ll lead a small Finance Team to provide an excellent finance service to all areas of the organisation 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operation of the finance function and provide leadership and management to the finance team to deliver the full range of services
  • Working closely with the Director of Finance and key stakeholders, assist and support in the development of a financial strategy
  • Provide an efficient, responsive and customer-focused service to a range of users, including students, staff, governors and external stakeholders.
  • Line manage staff in accordance with the policies using a proactive approach
  • Assist the Director of Finance with preparing the annual budget, the Financial Forecasting Return and any other financial plans, forecasts and benchmarking returns.

Person:The successful Interim Finance Manager will be/have:

  • CCAB or equivalent professional qualification
  • Evidence of continued professional development
  • Education experience (desirable)
