Description

Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit and Risk, the Internal Audit Manager will undertake financial, operational and other risk-based and compliance reviews. This includes reviewing and providing advice on the adequacy and effectiveness of the control framework and control environment.

Other responsibilities include;

  • Assisting the Board and management team in monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of business controls and risk management activities throughout the Group.
  • You will also support the Director of Internal Audit and Risk in providing assurance to the Audit Committee and the Board, through an independent professional internal audit service, that risks throughout the Group's operation are adequately identified, managed and addressed by internal controls that are proportionate and operating effectively.

Profile

A successful Internal Audit Manager should have:

  • Professional Qualification e.g. ACA, ACCA, CIMA etc;
  • Relevant internal/external audit experience;
  • Commercial and financial acumen;
  • Ability to undertake risk-based reviews as opposed to solely compliance reviews;
  • Ability to review financial /commercial /operational /IT processes;
  • Excellent report writing skills underpinned by the ability to clearly and succinctly draft review findings and make pragmatic practical recommendations to produce 'impactful' reports;
  • Effective oral communication including presenting to senior personnel, and strong influencing skills;
  • Steadfast follow-up skills including the ability to handle competing priorities and meeting deadlines and commitments;
  • Full, clean driving license to be able to undertake factory site visits;
  • Self-starter who is motivated to perform; takes responsibility for delivery;
  • Preferred FMCG / Manufacturing background,
  • SAP Experience,
