Our client is seeking a highly skilled Record to Report (R2R) Finance Manager to join their diverse team. This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid way, splitting your time between home and the office. As an R2R Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role in driving financial control by leading an effective and high-performing financial accounting and fixed assets team. You will have the chance to make a positive impact within a business that puts people at the heart of its strategy.

What you'll do:

As a Record to Report Manager, you will be responsible for leading an efficient financial accounting and fixed assets team. Your role will involve preparing and reviewing complex balance sheet reconciliations, overseeing the end-to-end fixed assets function, and managing a team. You will also support the financial transformation programme and other business change activities. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining balance sheet control and driving process improvements.

Prepare and review complex balance sheet reconciliations including fixed assets reconciliations across our corporate business.

  • Oversee the end-to-end fixed assets function for the business ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Line manage a team of colleagues - coaching, mentoring and driving a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Support the financial transformation programme and other business change activity by working closely with project teams.
  • Act as a center of excellence for balance sheet control, identifying and driving process improvements.
  • Work with external and internal audit, producing all required information for year end and interim audit processes.

What you bring:

The ideal candidate for this Record to Report Manager position will bring a wealth of experience in finance management, particularly in record to report roles. You should have a professional accountant qualification (CIMA/ACCA) or significant experience in a similar role. A broad knowledge of IFRS accounting standards, statutory accounts, and fixed assets accounting is essential. Additionally, you should have proven experience in driving continuous improvement, implementing process efficiencies, managing teams, and delivering projects.
