The Role

As a Senior Finance Business Partner based near Manchester Airport, this hybrid position requires three days in the office and two days from home each week. Responsibilities include:

• Strategic Financial Oversight: Direct comprehensive financial control, reporting, budgeting, and forecasting across multiple units.
• Team Leadership: Guide and develop the regional finance team, establishing and monitoring financial and operational KPIs.
• Performance Optimisation: Constantly enhance the precision and timeliness of financial data and aid operational management in executing business strategies.
• Risk and Compliance Oversight: Oversee the development of business cases, manage regional P&L, and ensure strict adherence to all financial processes.
• Project Leadership: Spearhead initiatives focused on identifying and executing cost control and reductions, with particular attention to labour and COGS efficiencies.
• Communication: Working across the business with both financial and non-financial senior leaders, presenting information and operating as an Ambassador the your business unit.

About You

You are an experienced finance professional with a minimum of three years in management and hold a recognised accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, or ACA). Ideally you will have a background of working within a logistics or supply based organisation. You will also have worked in a business where you have supported Operational leaders and therefore be adept at communicating financial information to commercial non -finance people, working as an Ambassador for the business. Recognised for your solid financial control and commercial savvy, you excel at driving continuous enhancements and performance. Your developed communication skills enable effective stakeholder engagement at all levels.
