Robert Walters are representing a high growth property business in their search for a Senior Finance Manager to join a newly created role. Reporting to a high calibre Finance Director, you will manage a large, capable team and oversee all aspects of accounting for this forward-thinking organisation. You'll provide commercial financial insight, working closely with the senior leadership team to deliver continued double-digit growth.

The Role:

  • Managing, coaching and developing a team of 6 finance professionals.
  • Overseeing monthly management accounting including facilitating the provision of MI to business stakeholders to aid strategic decision making.
  • Overseeing service charge and property accounting.
  • Assisting with year-end accounting and audit liaison.
  • Budgeting and forecasting including periodic performance review.
  • Providing key analysis on risks and opportunities to the wider business.
  • Working on key projects including changes to systems and processes.
  • Improve processes and streamline efficiencies within the finance function
  • Cash flow forecasting and analysis.

Your Background:

  • Ideally a fully CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified accountant (QBE will be considered).
  • A strong management background with a successful track record of coaching and developing teams.
  • Excellent stakeholder management experience including the simplifying and translation of financials to non-accounting stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Experience of working within property including exposure to service charge accounting is essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong system skills along with advanced Excel.
