Senior Financial Reporting Manager l Central Manchester | ACA Qualified | Sustainable Energy sector | Hybrid WorkingJob Overview:Axon Moore are delighted to be working for a rapidly growing, highly acquisitive organisation operating at the forefront of one of the most exciting industries (sustainable energy).As a result of the ongoing development within the Group business, this newly created role will create further bandwidth within group finance, providing ample opportunity to become further involved with this complex group.The ideal candidate will be ACA Qualified with several years of post-qualified experience. Candidates must have experience working within a complex group structure, taking ownership over technical finance and providing integral support on a variety of projects.Working in Central Manchester (2 days a week), there is plenty of flexibility and support on offer to support your career development.   • Take a lead role in the preparing the business for changes in financial reporting and auditing legislative developments.
  • Provide technical support to the wider business, partnering with relevant internal stakeholders as the organisation considers M&A, refinancing and new markets.
  • Support the quarterly and annual budget process, working closely with the FC and relevant budget holders.
  • Take a leading role in the completion of the statutory audit process, including internal audit and implementing controls and procedures.
  • Support the preparation of group reporting.
  • Provide support to the Financial Controller.
  • Contribute to the wider group finance team and support the continue growth of the function.
Person Specification:
  • ACA Qualified with several years post qualified experience.
  • Experience managing a small team.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven experience working in a group financial reporting environment.
  • An effective leader demonstrating a clear skillset to support the wider team.
  • Comfortable in a change environment and excel with project-based work.
