Job Title: Technology Billing & Finance Coordinator - Co-op
Location: Manchester


Contract Type: 12 months temporary
Start: ASAP
Position Type: Full-Time
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Work Pattern: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM OR 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (Hybrid: 1 day in the office, usually Wednesday)

Training: 4 days per week in-office for the first month


Pay: 12 per hour
Inside IR35: PAYE

About the Role:

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Technology Billing and Finance Coordinator to join our Source-to-Pay team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. In this entry-level role, you will play a key part in supporting billing and renewal activities for Co-op's third-party technology suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Validate bills and manage the recharge process
  • Handle supplier/customer queries raised via Teams and email
  • Raise and manage purchase order approvals, receipts, and invoice payments
  • Support transformation efforts by reviewing and refining current processes
  • Track third-party renewals and send timely reminders and output reporting
  • Ensure Purchase Orders align with budgets, flagging any discrepancies

What We're Looking For:

This role would suit individuals who have:

  • A basic understanding of finance or an interest in pursuing a career in this field
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills (Intermediate level: V-lookups, Pivot tables) and general IT proficiency with Microsoft Office/365
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with both internal and external partners
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage time effectively
