We have partnered with a well know brand who are seeking a Treasury Manager on a 12 month fixed term contract to lead their daily operational treasury functions. The role will encompass: Liquidity management, foreign currency management, payments, reconciliations, accounting and reporting. The function of the role will be to enhance financial controls, ensure compliance with overall treasury policy, and to pursue best practices within the team. This position will have five direct reports.

Key Responsibilities:

Daily Operations:

  • Oversee the daily operations for the Treasury Back Office team.
  • Manage key stakeholder enquiries related to banking and treasury policy risks.
  • Bank mandate and account management

Systems & Process Improvement:

  • Optimise treasury systems and controls
  • Improve processes where possible with a focus on automation
  • Document and design treasury procedures

Accounting:

  • Assist in the delivery of treasury accounting processes

Audit:

  • Fulfil external and internal audit requirements, both annual and bi-annual.

Controls:

  • Own and manage the controls framework for the treasury area, ensuring controls are operating effectively and that evidence is properly documented.

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive cash management experience
  • Strong technical experience with TMS and ERP systems
  • Treasury process development experience
  • Proven ability to manage internal and external stakeholder relationships.
  • Qualification desired e.g: ACT, ACCA, CIMA
