The role:
Summary:
Client Executive role is a key position in the Operations Team. Completing a variety of customer and risk focussed tasks, responsibilities include the primary day to day contact for a portfolio of company asset-based lending clients, providing excellent customer service allied with risk management skills. The role requires strong relationship building and risk management skills. The role would suit an individual looking to further develop their career in the Asset Based Lending Industry as the team and lending book grows.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of confidential and disclosed invoice discounting clients including ABL products understanding their businesses and their relationships with their debtors.
- Manage effectively and in accordance with policy and practice; the administration of ledgers, payment requests, monthly reconciliations and monthly management information.
- Completion of client reconciliations on a monthly basis ensuring company reserves are held in accordance with policy and clients are compliant with covenants.
- Responsibility alongside other client executives for the Daily Balancing of the operating system.
- Input and process of client payments through Operating and Banking systems.
- Assist with the successful onboarding of new clients.
- Maintain thorough records and provide necessary feedback and reporting to Head of Operations and Relationship Managers.
- Maintain delivery of a high-quality service to clients.
- All activity is undertaken within the scope of overseeing the maintenance of the collateral being funded by the company.
- Understand the company and the wider Bank’s products and services, and proactively identify and action sales opportunities in order to best meet customer needs.
- Adherence with the Bank’s AML policies and procedures, with vigilance at all times of the conduct of customers and debtors.

Essential Knowledge & Experience
- Experience of working in an Operations role within the Asset Based Lending industry.
- Understanding of CID Reconciliations.
- Strong risk management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel
Desirable knowledge & Experience:
- ABFA / UK Finance qualified to Certificate Level
