Role Overview:The Client Manager will play a pivotal role in managing and developing client relationships, ensuring the delivery of high-quality service and support to meet clients' financial needs. This role requires a strong background in financial services or wealth management, coupled with excellent communication and organisational skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of clients, ensuring their needs are met promptly and professionally.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and loyalty.
- Assist clients with their financial planning requirements, coordinating with advisers and other professionals as needed.
- Prepare and review client documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with internal teams to ensure a seamless client experience, resolving any issues or queries effectively.
- Monitor client accounts and keep clients informed of updates, changes, or opportunities relevant to their portfolios.
- Provide administrative support to advisers, including scheduling meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
- Identify opportunities to enhance client services and contribute to the continuous improvement of processes.
Key Requirements:
- Proven experience in financial services or wealth management is essential.
- Strong understanding of financial products and services.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering exceptional service.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with CRM systems.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial services sector.
Desirable:
- Relevant industry qualifications (e.g., CII, CISI, or equivalent) or a willingness to work towards them.
- Experience in a client-facing role within a financial planning or wealth management firm.
