Client Services Manager

Location: Manchester - Hybrid working at least three days per week in-office (Tues-Thurs)

Salary - £100,000

MERJE is seeking an exceptional Client Services Manager for a leading Fund/Asset Management company. This newly-created role will be pivotal in shaping the future of retirement services for UK investors. The successful candidate will lead high-performing teams, drive operational efficiency, and help define innovative retirement solutions.

The Role

The Client Services Manager will report to the Head of Retirement and Managed Services in the UK Personal Investor platform. This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape the company's retirement service, drive operational excellence, and establish the firm as a leader in retirement solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and evolve the current operating model to reduce costs while increasing client satisfaction
  • Lead and develop retirement specialists and managers who interact directly with clients
  • Partner with Strategy & Offer function to evolve the retirement offer
  • Engage with press to establish the company's reputation as a retirement leader
  • Ensure teams achieve target SLAs and KPIs are met

Required knowledge and experience:

  • Significant experience in Retirement Client Services within financial services
  • Proven track record of successfully leading and building client-focused teams
  • Detailed knowledge of the UK regulatory and pensions landscape
  • Strong analytical data skills and experience in driving improvements
  • Passion for retirement topics and confidence in engaging with journalists
