Our client, a national wealth management firm, are looking for a Head of Paraplanning to join the team. You will lead and work alongside their growing Paraplanning team to deliver high-quality financial planning support to the Advisers. You will provide technical expertise and undertake detailed research and analysis of a wide variety of financial planning solutions, producing comprehensive reports to support their network of Financial Advisers in providing exceptional customer service to clients.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop and mentor the paraplanning team, to ensure a high standard is achieved throughout both professional and person development
  • Monitor and manage workflows and production within the team, ensuring the team produces high quality outputs in line with compliance and regulatory requirements.
  • Liaise as the point of contact with their strategic partner paraplanners used for overflow of department workloads.
  • Assist in streamlining the paraplanning processes, systems and procedures to increase efficiency within the team, increase outputs and improve agreed SLA’s.
  • Work alongside their national footprint of Financial Advisers to support client requirements and raise the profile of the Paraplanning offering
  • Conduct research, complex calculations and cashflow forecasting to provide solutions to meet client needs and recommend an appropriate course of action through suitability reports.

Do you have the following to apply?

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience managing, leading and developing a team is essential
  • A Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning is required for this role
  • A working knowledge of FE Analytics, IO and CashCalc
