Job Overview:An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Appointment Taking Insolvency Practitioner to join one of Manchester's leading IVA businesses. This role focuses on Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVA) and personal insolvency, managing cases from initiation to conclusion. The successful candidate will be responsible for taking formal insolvency appointments and leading a team that specializes in personal insolvency solutions.

This role is ideal for a qualified Insolvency Practitioner with a strong background in IVAs and personal insolvency who is looking to make an impact within a market-leading firm.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Appointment Taking: One of the the primary Insolvency Practitioners on formal insolvency appointments, specifically focused on Individual Voluntary Arrangements (IVA) and personal insolvency cases.
  • Client Advisory: Provide expert advice to individuals facing financial difficulties, tailoring solutions that meet their unique circumstances and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Case Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of personal insolvency cases, ensuring all statutory requirements and deadlines are met, from case initiation to closure.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of insolvency professionals, ensuring that cases are managed efficiently and effectively while maintaining high-quality client service.
  • Compliance Oversight: Ensure all cases adhere to regulatory standards, including anti-money laundering regulations and industry best practices.
  • Stakeholder Management: Liaise with creditors, debtors, and other stakeholders to negotiate and manage IVA proposals and other personal insolvency solutions.
  • Business Development: Support the firm’s growth by identifying opportunities for new cases, enhancing client relationships, and promoting the firm's insolvency services.
Candidate Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Licensed Insolvency Practitioner with the ability to take formal appointments.
  • Experience: Extensive experience in personal insolvency, with a focus on IVAs, and a proven track record of taking appointments.
  • Skills:
    • Deep knowledge of insolvency legislation and regulatory requirements.
