Description

As a Paraplanner, you will be supporting the Financial Planners with administration support to service clients needs around financial advice, and ensuring that this service is a top class standard. The main duties will be:

  • Providing technical support for Advisers and other teams
  • Preparing suitability reports for clients and preparing client review packs
  • Carrying out specific research on financial products for each individual client needs
  • Preparing information for analysis and further discussion with the adviser
  • Carrying out reviews and dealing with client queries quickly and efficiently, and act as a point of contacts for clients
  • Submitting plans to third party provider companies
  • Considering allocation of assets for investment strategy in relation to client's risk profile and their objectives
  • Preparing draft recommendation reports and liaising with administration teams to ensure they are correctly implemented
  • Maintaining all necessary administrative information, ensuring all is correct and accurate, as well as being compliant with relevant bodies
  • Keeping up to speed with changes in legislation and new financial products being introduced

Profile

For this role, we are looking for someone who has:

  • Significant experience in a Paraplanning role
  • Minimum level 4 qualified (CII Diploma or IFS Diploma)
  • Excellent communication skills with confidence to speak to various stakeholders and enjoys client interaction
  • Prides themselves on their customer service skills
  • Has a strong attention to detail and able to work with a high level of accuracy
  • Strong analytical skills and able to solves problems effectively
  • Confidence with systems and IT such as IO, FE Analytics, Cashcalc etc
  • Excellent report writing skills
