Personal Advisor Role - Leaving Care Team

We are collaborating with a Local Authority in their search for a Personal Advisor to provide support to their Care Leavers Team in Manchester!

We are seeking inspired and innovative individuals who can empower care leavers, building on their strengths and assisting them in achieving personal growth and success.

This is initially a 3-6 month agency contract, with the possibility of extension on an ongoing basis.

These are full-time positions requiring a commitment of 37 hours per week.

Pay Rate: 15+ per hour. Higher rates can be negotiated for candidates with more experience.

Role Overview:

  • Enhancing services provided to supported families and delivering positive outcomes for children.
  • Assisting all children and families in developing meaningful relationships with professionals.
  • Facilitating optimal opportunities for personal development and achievement.
  • Fostering a supportive environment that allows workers to thrive and contribute to improved outcomes for children and families.
  • Implementing a new approach to social work by integrating Restorative Practice throughout the service.
  • Ensuring low caseloads, embedded supervision, and supportive management.

Required Qualifications:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Child Care and Education, NND, or qualifications in Health or Social Care.
