My client is current looking for an experienced and Senior Paraplanner to join their team in central Manchester. The Role

  • Support and assisting Client Partners and assist the Head of Wealth Planning in researching the client's needs and developing appropriate recommendations
  • Proactively completing research and analysis of the client case and of the market of solutions
  • Producing high quality advice suitability recommendations for UHNW clients. £3m +
  • Delivering excellence for clients at all times
  • Total focus on optimal outcomes for clients
  • Proactively obtaining, collating and reviewing information/quotations required
  • Proactively coordinating parties, both internal and external, to ensure they are aligned in delivering for the client. This includes keeping all stakeholders informed and updated
  • Building and maintaining the professional relationships with colleagues, clients, and third parties including; private banks, provisional advisers, product providers and introducers to contribute to building a highly positive company and personal reputation
  • Highly effective team member; supporting colleagues in offices and across the business
  • Sharing expertise and drawing on expertise across the firm to maximise client experience
  • Ensuring a coordinated approach, utilising skills and people from across the business to service a client
  • Working with other Client Managers and the Head of Wealth Planning to develop technical best practice, and on the management of product/provider panels

Experience

  • Good knowledge of HNW and Ultra HNW clients and their families and trusts
  • Strong practical knowledge of private banking and platform/custodian arrangements
  • Strong financial planning understanding of markets, relevant jurisdictional taxation, asset classes, product wrappers and tax structures. [Should be or be working to level 4 diploma level qualification with an aspiration to be level 6 qualified and chartered]
  • Excellent paraplanning capability; researching and drafting suitability
  • Strong communication
  • Strong understanding of policies, systems and processes
  • Good task management and basic project skills to provide strong coordination
  • Professionalism - self driven development of technical knowledge and qualifications
  • Keeping up to date on technical, legislative/regulatory changes in your respective markets to enable the proposition to develop and evolve
  • Identifying and developing solutions to provide innovative client solutions
  • Bring into the firm ideas and concepts to improve what and how we deliver for clients
