Role Overview: Imperium Financial Recruitment is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Work Winning Insolvency Practitioner for a leading firm in Manchester. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating new business opportunities, managing insolvency cases, and driving the firm's growth in the insolvency sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective business development strategies to identify and secure new insolvency cases.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including creditors, solicitors, accountants, and financial advisors.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of insolvency cases, including administrations, liquidations, and voluntary arrangements, from initiation to completion.
- Conduct thorough investigations into the financial affairs of insolvent entities and develop strategies for asset realization.
- Prepare detailed reports for creditors, regulatory bodies, and courts, ensuring all statutory requirements are met.
- Lead meetings with creditors and stakeholders, providing clear and concise updates on case progress.
- Ensure compliance with insolvency legislation and internal procedures.
- Mentor and support junior staff, promoting professional development and high standards of work.
- Stay updated with industry trends and changes in insolvency law to maintain the firm's competitive edge.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Insolvency Practitioner (IP) status is essential.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in insolvency, with a strong track record in business development.
- Professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPI, or JIEB are highly desirable.
- Comprehensive knowledge of insolvency law, regulations, and best practices.
- Proven ability to manage complex insolvency cases and develop effective recovery strategies.
