Are you an experienced Insolvency Manager ready for a new challenge? We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded insolvency and restructuring practice in Manchester, seeking a skilled professional to lead a growing team and drive success in a dynamic environment.
About the Role:
As an Insolvency Manager, you will take responsibility for managing a varied caseload of corporate and personal insolvency cases, while providing leadership and mentorship to a team of administrators. You will play a key role in maintaining the firms high standards of client service and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Overseeing a portfolio of insolvency cases, ensuring progress is managed efficiently and in compliance with relevant legislation.
- Providing guidance and support to a team of administrators, helping them achieve their professional goals.
- Reviewing and approving case documentation, reports, and correspondence to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Engaging with stakeholders such as creditors, directors, and solicitors to resolve issues and move cases forward.
- Identifying opportunities to enhance asset realization strategies and maximize returns for creditors.
- Managing key milestones in case progression, ensuring deadlines and objectives are met.
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of internal processes and the growth of the practice.
About You:
- Substantial experience in insolvency, with a proven ability to manage complex cases from start to finish.
- Strong understanding of insolvency legislation and statutory requirements.
- A natural leader with experience mentoring and developing junior team members.
- Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to liaise with stakeholders at all levels.
- CPI or JIEB qualifications are advantageous but not essential.
