Our client, a leading glass manufacturer, is seeking a reliable and motivated Forklift Driver / General Labourer to join their busy team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a specialized industry, contributing to the production and distribution of high-quality glass products.

Key Responsibilities

As a Forklift Driver / General Labourer, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth operations within the warehouse. Your duties will include:

Forklift Operation: Safely operating forklifts to load, unload, and transport glass products within the warehouse.

Inventory Management: Conducting regular stock checks to maintain accurate inventory records and identifying any discrepancies.

Order Preparation: Picking, packing, and palletising orders to ensure timely and accurate shipment of products.

Warehouse Organisation: Organising and storing glass products with proper labelling and adherence to safe storage practices.

Product Inspection: Receiving and inspecting deliveries of glass products to ensure quality standards are met.

Team Collaboration: Working closely with colleagues to optimize workflow and meet production deadlines.

Safety Compliance: Following all health and safety regulations to ensure a secure working environment for yourself and your team.

What We're Looking For

To excel in this role, you'll need:

Experience: Prior experience in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment is preferred.

Forklift Skills: A valid forklift operator's license is highly desirable. Training can be provided for the right candidate.

Physical Capability: The ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects and standing for extended periods.

Attention to Detail: Strong accuracy in handling products and maintaining records.
