Join a leading Global Freight Forwarding Business as an Air Export Operator in South Manchester. We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to manage air export shipments from start to finish, ensuring compliance with all regulations and providing outstanding customer service.
Day-to-day of the role:- Coordinate and manage air export shipments, including booking cargo space, preparing documentation, and arranging transportation.
- Ensure compliance with international shipping regulations and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with clients, airlines, and overseas agents to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor and track shipments, providing updates to clients and resolving any issues that arise.
- Prepare and review export documentation, including airway bills, invoices, and packing lists.
- Maintain accurate records and files for all shipments.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Previous experience in air export operations or a similar role within the freight forwarding industry.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and documentation.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software.
