We are seeking an experienced Air Freight Import Operator for our client who is a leading Freight Forwarding company
- Role is fully office based in Wythenshawe
- Hours 08.30 17.00 Monday - Friday
- Holidays 25 days + bank holidays
- Salary is up to £34,000
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage air freight bookings and coordinate shipments from origin to destination.
- Utilise Cargowise to track shipments, update records, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Liaise with carriers, customers, and internal teams to provide outstanding service.
- Resolve any issues that may arise during the shipping process.
- Monitor compliance with customs regulations and industry standards.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in air freight operations.
- Proficient in Cargowise software.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge of freight regulations and customs procedures is essential
