Global Freight Forwarder is seeking an Airfreight Operator to enhance their motivated team.
The role involves managing the operational cycle of air shipments, liaising with airlines, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations.
Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in Airfreight Exports or Imports, along with excellent ICT skills.
The position emphasizes customer care, problem-solving, and effective communication with clients regarding shipment statuses.

Overall involved/responsible for:

Operational cycle from start to finish.
Arrange shipments as per customer instructions following customer SOP/Quotation.
Manage shared mailbox.
Liaise with airlines and handling agents.
Complete the MAWB’s-IATA, B2B and consolidations.
Pre alert the customer and network.
Complete custom entries in accordance to compliance of HMRC.
Customer care; dealing with queries and problem solving.
Updating customers with the status of their shipments.
Costing and invoicing.

Requirements & additional info:

Minimum 2 years of Airfreight Exports or Imports.
Flexible and adaptable approach. Team Player.
Airfreight customs.
Excellent ICT skills to include Microsoft packages.
Cargowise use.
Customer focused at all times.
Attention to detail.
Enthusiasm and good self-motivation.
