This blue chip business is recruiting an ambitious, willing to learn, Trainee Transport Operator to join their established team in Manchester.

Supporting the Transport Manager, working to ensure deliveries are on time in full, your key duties will include:

  • Assist in the planning of loads, vehicles, administration and job orders.
  • Monitor vehicles and drivers to ensure all jobs run smoothly and punctually.
  • Deal with customer queries, providing updates to customers.
  • Support the management of driver hours via Transport Management System ensuring compliance.

We are for candidates who have a minimum of 12 months administration experience in the transport / haulage industry who want to develop a career and progress with a large transport business. The company is keen to secure the right motivated attitude and will invest in your training to ensure you know their way of working.
