Proactive Personnel are currently recruiting for a Transport Administrator on behalf of our client based in Radcliffe.

The sucuessful applicant will have previous experience working in an administration role within a warehouse or transport team.

Responsabilities include:

  • Booking in deliveries with customers via e-mail or phone calls
  • Sending copies of C of A’S and delivery notes to customers via e mail
  • Entering shipments on to Clarkes Transport dispatch system
  • Scanning paperwork to Power Retrieve
  • Obtaining P.O.D’S for customers
  • Obtaining E.T.A’S for customers
  • Checking with accounts for customers who are credit blocked.
  • Dealing with export shipping notes i.e., issuing to drivers ensuring correct paperwork given.
  • Closing shipments on I.F.S. when dispatched
  • Printing delivery notes to go on drums/ pallets.
  • Check internal customer amendments i.e., change of delivery address, delivery date.
  • Print Clarkes manifest ensuring drum count matches drums sent.
  • Shredding paperwork once scanned.
  • Handling any customer complaints and passing urgent ones to manager.
  • Answering and responding to incoming phone calls in a prompt and polite manner ensuring customers are left with a lasting positive impression of the delivery service

You will be required to work Monday to Thusday 8.30am-5.15pm and Friday 8.30am-2.45pm (37.5 hours per week).
