Xpertise are looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join a well-established financial services company. This role is backend-focused and centres on Business as Usual (BAU) development, maintaining and improving existing systems to ensure stability, performance, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain, enhance, and support existing backend applications built with the .NET Framework
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to minimise system downtime
- Optimise database performance and ensure data integrity in SQL Server
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand system requirements and deliver effective solutions
- Ensure code quality and maintainability through best engineering practices
- Contribute to system documentation and knowledge sharing within the team
- Extensive experience with .NET Framework
- Solid understanding of API development, background services, and batch processing
- Experience working in a BAU environment, troubleshooting, and maintaining complex legacy systems
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control (Git)
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
